2010 Politics Online Conference

The Politics Online Conference is in 18 days! Have you registered yet? The two-day annual event will be held on April 19th-20th. The list of speakers from both side of the aisle include regulars likeĀ Alan RosenblattĀ (of CAP and who Iā€™veĀ quoted on this blog),Ā Colin DelanyĀ (of Epolitics.com and who let meĀ guest postĀ on his blog),Ā Ā David AlmacyĀ (Former White House Internet Director and fellow Terp),Ā Ā Katie HarbathĀ (of NRSC and my former boss), andĀ Silona BonewaldĀ (all around smart lady).Ā  They will be joined by folks fromĀ  Google, Facebook, AOL, Rock the Vote, Microsoft, the DNC, The New Organizing Institute, and yours truly along with fellow colleagues from Blue State Digital.Ā  The full list of speakers is available atĀ http://polc2010.com/agenda/speakers.

The panels look even more interesting than those at least yearā€™s conference. They include case studies of the Scott Brown, Bob McDonnell and the ā€œText Haitiā€ campaigns, the potential effect of mobile devices on the upcoming cycle, how to use new media to engage youth and minorities, and in-depth look at new tools in the industry. And of course there will be happy hours, two of them to be exact. The fullĀ  agenda athttp://polc2010.com/agenda.Ā  To get a full idea what to expect from the panels,Ā  check outĀ my round-up from lastā€™s year conference.

Are you sold yet?Ā Ā Click here to Register.Ā  Conference organizers recognize that this year has been financially tough for many folks. If you want to attend but canā€™t afford the full price, contact Bryce Cullinane at bryce222 [at] gmail [dot] com and he will try to work with you.Ā  If for whatever reasons you still canā€™t make it this year, the conference is also on twitter atĀ @polc2010, and the ā€œofficialā€ hashtag is alsoĀ #polc2010

As always, The conference is hosted by ourĀ  the Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet and theGraduate School of Political ManagementĀ at GW. Hope to see you there.
